Frogner is known as one of Oslo's finest areas with it's beautiful green alleys, lovely architecture and villas in the middle of town. It's where most embassies reside and where you will find numerous local designer boutiques, cafes, individual top quality restaurants, high end beauty salons and lovely florists and interior design shops. Frogner is not really considered a very commercial area, so all these above mentioned attractive places within the area, are often a bit hidden and spread throughout the district. It is not the cheapest neighbourhood in Oslo, but more and more students have started to bring the area alive, sharing some very beautiful and spacious apartments in the lovely old buildings. One of the most famous attractions of Frogner is certainly the incredible and unique sculpture park named after the artist Gustav Vigeland, which is right next to the local outdoor pool and where the popular annual summer festival "Norwegian Woods" takes place. The Bonita Flower's shop originated in the heart of Frogner, where Oslo was first introduced to the amazing Colombian roses that are now being delivered by Bonita, all over the city. The newest Bonita shop, where you can also enjoy Colombian coffee and fresh juices is located in Briskeby.
